 The Gleaner, Henderson, Kentucky October 1917 TYPHOID FEVER FATAL TO WALLACE GRIFFIN Wallace GRIFFIN, aged 25, passed away at 8:30 o'clock Thursday night at the city hospital following a short illness of typhoid fever. The deceased was admitted to the hospital two weeks ago and gradually sank until death ensued. He is survived by his parents, who reside near Zion. The remains will be taken to the home of his parents this morning and funeral services will be conducted this afternoon or Saturday morning. Arrangements were not completed last night. Young GRIFFIN was a taxi driver in the city before becoming ill. BACK |
